1、 Preparation work

2. Dry base surface: The construction surface must be kept dry, especially when applied on porous base surfaces, it is best to let it air dry naturally or blow dry with tools.
3. Prepare tools: Prepare the necessary tools for construction, usually including scrapers, brushes, rollers, jointing tools, etc.

2、 Steps for using transparent waterproof adhesive

1. Can opening inspection: Open the transparent waterproof adhesive packaging and check if the adhesive is uniform and if the color is normal. If there is layering or clumping, it should be thoroughly mixed before use.
2. Trial small area: Before large-scale construction, it is recommended to conduct a trial coating in a small area to observe its waterproof effect and transparency, and confirm that it meets the requirements before proceeding with large-scale operations.
3. Apply the first layer:

Dip a brush or roller into an appropriate amount of transparent waterproof adhesive and evenly apply it to the construction surface.

When applying, attention should be paid to uniformity to avoid omissions and excessive thickness.

A small brush can be used for fine application at corners and fine seams to ensure full coverage.

4. Natural drying: It takes some time for the transparent waterproof adhesive to fully cure after application. Generally speaking, the surface drying time is 2-4 hours, and complete curing takes 24 hours. The specific time varies depending on the temperature and humidity changes in the construction environment.
5. Apply the second layer:

After the first layer is completely dry, if a higher waterproof effect is required, a second layer can be applied.

3、 Precautions

1. Ensure ventilation: The construction environment should maintain good ventilation and avoid working in enclosed, stuffy spaces.
2. Construction temperature: The suitable construction temperature is between 5 ℃ and 35 ℃. If the temperature is too low, the colloid may not cure completely, and if it is too high, it is prone to volatilization and affect the effect.
3. Avoid contact: Before the waterproof adhesive is completely dry, avoid contact with water, dust, and other pollutants.
4. Protective layer setting: If the transparent waterproof adhesive is applied outdoors or in areas prone to physical wear and tear, it is recommended to set a protective layer such as waterproof film or other covering materials on its surface to extend its service life.

5、 Storage precautions

1. Sealed storage: Unused transparent waterproof adhesive should be sealed in a timely manner to prevent air from entering and causing the adhesive to solidify.
2. Storage environment: It should be stored in a cool, dry environment, away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
3. Expiration date: Pay attention to the expiration date of the transparent waterproof adhesive. The waterproof effect of expired products may be reduced. It is recommended to use it within the expiration date.
